Faculty teaching Student Life Skills (SLS) curriculum related to career development, career and life planning, job search and organizational leadership must hold a masters degree in an appropriate business, counseling, education, personnel or human resources management field. Design and content is based on the development of academic and technical skills needed for career exploration and employment. Those who have successfully completed graduate programs can model and teach these skills to undergraduate students. In addition, SLS teaching assignments require completion of a formal faculty training program which addresses career options, educational planning and student assessment. |
