Scenarios Online

What is ScenariosOnline?

ScenariosOnline is a series of online seminars developed at Valencia, sometimes in connection with other colleges around the country.  Each online seminar is developed around the topic of a challenge in higher education at the community college level.  Rather than just putting a seminar on faculty development issues (text) online, scenarios leverages the power of storytelling to engage faculty and draw them into deeper discussions online with colleagues from other academic disciplines.  Participants read a brief narrative, are prompted with several questions, view high-powered resources, and then post their answers, and respond to their colleagues.
