Essential Competencies of a
Valencia Educator
For each competency, the tenure candidate will present evidence at an
acceptable level that is learning centered, public, and assessable.
Valencia Community College Standards of Scholarship are applied where
relevant. Conditions may vary, will usually include Valencia students, and
always include artifacts for assessment.
