Course Description
Freshman Composition II (ENC1102) is a writing course which includes application of ENC1101 skills with an emphasis on style, use of the library and other research sources, reading and evaluating those sources, and planning, writing, and documenting a short research paper. Each student must write 6,000 words and will earn three (3) credit hours upon successful completion of the course.

Students with disabilities who qualify for academic accommodations must provide a letter from the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) and discuss specific needs with the professor, preferably during the first two weeks of class. The Office for Students with Disabilities determines accommodations based on appropriate documentation of disabilities (Building 1, Room 140, ext. 4167).

Prerequisites:
ENC 1101 or ENC 1101H (with a passing grade, of course).
