ALF, the feline-hungry alien of the hit live-action show bearing his name, relives his years on his home planet Melmac. The producers expanded the show to an hour in 1988 and added the cartoon Alf Tales in which ALF and his friends present twisted, irreverent versions of classic fairy tales, such as Robin Hood, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty.

DuckTales

DuckTales

Walt Disney's DuckTales was the first daily animated cartoon show to air weekdays on the Disney Afternoon. DuckTales debuted in 1988. The 1988 - 1989 season consisted of 65 episodes. The next season (1989 - 1990) included an additional 35 episodes, totaling 100. DuckTales is an extremely unique and original cartoon. Episodes such as "Sweet Duck of Youth," "Dr Jekyll and Mr. McDuck," "The Golden Fleecing" and many more play off of legends, literature, and actual historic events. Disney's DuckTales also uses clever "duck" names for characters, as well as creatively used puns to add life to the excellent show. DuckTales is the greatest cartoon show ever created.
