All
of our Professional Development programs are now available for you
to enroll yourself via ATLAS. Here is a simple "Quick Reference Guide" that explains how to enroll.
We also have a mini-tutorial to give you further guidance on how to use ATLAS for Professional
Development. Just as an F.Y.I., all courses are offered through
WebCt . It is pertinent that you register for courses 48 hours prior
to the class start date.
We
have several opportunities for Adjunct Faculty to participate in
Faculty Development. One special series is delivered online,
our Scenarios workshops. Here is a video description of what
makes the Scenario, "Teaching in the Learning College," a worthwhile experience from Dr. Sandy Shugart, Valencia's President [ Hi-Res | Low-Res ] . Here is the schedule of our Scenario offerings for the entire 2007-08 academic year.
